There are all sorts of scary things that we find in houses, old and new. One of those things we find in older homes is #Asbestos. While Asbestos has been remediated and removed in some homes, it's relative safety - when encapsulated - has meant that homeowners have left it in place for many new #homeowners to discover. While it's well known as a health hazard, in this video I try to put Asbestos in context with how dangerous it really is. We also talk about the benefits of buying a home with asbestos and remediating it. But be careful - asbestos mitigation can be very expensive in certain situations, and you shouldn't over pay for a home that has a major capital expense in front of it.
