This year was... ok. Honestly, it was kinda mid. I don't know, I feel like I should be more grateful or something, but I can't really find it in me. Everything has been just so... tiring? Like I've made friends, things are going pretty ok at work, but society is still going in a direction I don't like, and frankly it's exhausting. Don't worry for my well-being too much though; I'll live forever if only out of sheer spite. That said, I could definitely move on from all of 2025's problems, so I figure I'd give have a graceful... departure from them.

... Yes, this stupid quip is part of why I went to port this one. I figured I have a bit more knowhow to make this track work, so the two combined to form a somewhat solid core motivation. Thanks, Renoud, for inspiring me via Myrm Emblem.

I am relatively proud of how this port came out though, all things considered. If you examine some of the changes I made to the arrangement, you'll notice a few tweaks are done such that the track is a bit closer to Synthescissor's arrangement; I like that one a lot, arguably a bit more than the official Mythos version. Sound balancing was a pain though, but that's kind of a consequence of working for 20 year old hardware. Anyway, porting this also doubles as another test to see if people are enticed by boring vanilla assets thrown in thumbnails with a bit of recoloring for flair. I could've just put Lyn with her base palatte, but that would be BORING, like hacks that don't get rid of Distant Roads, or a good chunk of reduxes, honestly.
