Estella lives in a world where hybrids and humans don’t get along.
Hunters from the human world are plotting an attack on the hybrids and have found a way to enter their hidden world.
But Sunset Academy is like a different world, and is the only place where the Hunters can’t access.

Estella finally gets to take a look at her dorm, and meets Melanie, Madeline and Willow, the head girl. It turns out that the dorms had been mixed up, and Estella isn’t sharing a dorm with the head girl after all. Instead, her dorm partner is Madeline, a 14 year old wolf-bat hybrid. During Estella’s tour, she meets some of the the other SA members and gets to know a bit more about the school.
But, other things are going on outside of the school with some “new students”.
