Описание: Paraná es la ciudad capital de la provincia de Entre Ríos, Argentina. Se ubica al oeste de la provincia, al este del río Paraná. Administrativamente es un municipio cabecera del departamento Paraná, comprende un área rural y la localidad del mismo nombre dentro del aglomerado Gran Paraná en el distrito Sauce. Desde 2009 existe una zonificación de la ciudad a través de cuatro unidades relativamente autónomas. Paraná fue formándose en la época de la colonización española, pero no fue fundada como ciudad, sino que su poblamiento fue gradual. Entre 1853 y 1861 fue la capital de la Confederación Argentina.

Paraná is the capital city of the province of Entre Ríos, Argentina. It is located in the west of the province, east of the Paraná River. Administratively, it is a head municipality of the Paraná department, it includes a rural area and the town of the same name within the Gran Paraná agglomerate in the Sauce district. Since 2009 there has been a zoning of the city through four relatively autonomous units. Paraná was formed at the time of Spanish colonization, but it was not founded as a city, rather its settlement was gradual. Between 1853 and 1861 it was the capital of the Argentine Confederation.
