Katina and I decided to kick off our 2021 food challenge touring in Florida, and our February Florida Tour turned into a February & March Florida Tour!! I attempted lots of food challenges all over the state of Florida. For challenge #20, we traveled to Talkin' Tacos Food Truck located in Miami, Florida so I could help kick off their new "Birria King" 40 Mexican Birria Tacos Challenge. I had 40 short minutes to finish 40 of their beef Birria Tacos made with braised beef on a corn tortilla and topped with melty Oaxacan cheese (quesillo), cilantro, lime, and white onions. I was trying to win my $120 Mexican Birria Taco meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and the first spot on their upcoming brick & mortar restaurant's Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to everyone with Talkin' Tacos for the amazing food, drinks, and hospitality!! Thanks to everyone who came up to watch and meet us that afternoon and endured the unfortunate rain while I finished!! We appreciate everyone in Miami and around Florida who supports our hard efforts!!

Talkin' Tacos Food Truck's Mexican Birria Tacos King Challenge in Miami, Florida ($120):

If you are looking for a fantastic taco stand in Miami, FL that offers all of your favorite Mexican dishes, your search is over! Talkin' Tacos has the tacos you’ve been craving, served fresh and hot. They want to provide you with excellent service along with enticing dishes that will bring you back time and time again. Tacos are their specialty, but they also serve delicious burritos, tostadas, street corn, and desserts made with quality in mind. Stop by to enjoy some delicious Mexican food in their beautiful outdoor atmosphere.
For this "Birria King" Challenge, there was a 40 minute time limit to finish 40 Mexican Birria Tacos.
Birria tacos consist of braised beef inside a corn tortilla that has been pan-fried in the fat that sits at the top of the Birria. They are filled with melty Oaxacan cheese (quesillo), cilantro, lime, and white onions. They are served with a bowl of consommé on the side for dipping.
Finish 40 Birria Tacos in 40 minutes or less, and win the $120 taco meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and a spot on their upcoming Wall of Fame once they are in their brick & mortar restaurant area.
Note: Once the restaurant is open and the challenge becomes publicly available, the challenge will more than likely have a 1 hour time limit.
