Today, we take you behind the scenes of our recent Level III Mock Drill conducted in collaboration with the District Authorities at Basavannakola village in Yamunapur, Belagavi district in the state of Karnataka.

This event was a significant step in enhancing our team's confidence and showcasing their coordination capabilities during adversities like fire and human injury on-site.

Megha Gas gives utmost priority to safety, and exercises like these are essential in equipping our team with the skills to respond effectively to unforeseen situations.

As part of the CGD services Megha Gas is committed to complying with the regulations set forth in Section 61 of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board Act of 2006, which prescribe safety regulations for Emergency Response and Disaster Management Plans.

These safety regulations categorize emergencies into three levels based on their seriousness and response requirements.

Level 1: This level involves emergencies that can be effectively and safely managed within the site with no impact outside.

Level 2- These are emergencies that require additional support and have the potential to affect beyond the site where safety is vital.

Then we have Level 3 where emergencies are catastrophic and likely to affect the population, property, and environment both inside and outside the installation sites.

We at Megha Gas strictly follow these regulations and conduct mock drills regularly to assess the capability of our team and ensure they perform effectively as a group.

District Authorities including the DC office ERDMP in charge, Senior Assistant Director of Factories, District Fire officer and senior Belagavi Police Dept officials were present along with the Megha Gas Belagavi team to participate in the Mock Drill. The presence of District Authorities further strengthens our collaborative efforts towards ensuring the safety and well-being of our community.
