Festivities and Blossoms of Light
With the theme ‘Christmas in Bloom’, 2021’s edition of Christmas on A Great Street celebrates hope and resilience in the face of adversity.
From 13 November 2021, the streets of Orchard Road will be illuminated by dazzling arches of lights, bedecked with flower motifs. This 3.1 kilometre-length display will stretch along Tanglin Road and towards Plaza Singapura.
Luminous decorations in the form of White Christmas Roses will adorn the stretch from Cairnhill Junction to the Atrium@Orchard, while the main archway along Scotts-Paterson Road Junction will be decorated with an array of red, white and gold poinsettias.
If you’re in the district in the evening, be sure to drop by Mandarin Orchard to check out a spectacular 3D projection. From 8-10.30pm daily, the walls of the building will be transformed into a spectacular display, featuring the adorable Merli and friends.
