Here I have for sale a pair of WW2 era German Binoculars. They are in used good condition with signs of age

World War 2 German binoculars were marked 'Dienstglas' meaning service glass. Pre-war glasses used by the German military had the maker's name. There were a large number of manufacturers that made equipment for the German military. Some of the factories were in occupied countries. In an attempt to disguise the manufacturer, The German Government issued every factory with a unique code which was engraved on the instrument instead of the makers name and location. e.g Carl Zeiss in Jena used 'blc'


The optics are in fairly good condition allowing clear viewing. On closer inspection of the optics when reverse viewing, their are signs of a little dust and a few odd little marks on the lens. This does not appear to cause any significant visual obstruction. Considering that these binoculars were manufactured sometime between 1939-1945, it's amazing they are in such good condition.
