Easiest mango coconut burfi recipe
This is an easiest way to make a mango burfi, with desiccate mango flavour and uses few ingredients. It is a party pleaser for sure and kids love them too.
Ingredients :
1. Mango puree: 1/2 cup
2. Condensed milk : 1/2 cup
3. Desiccated coconut: 1 cup
4. Ghee: 1 tbsp
Steps:
1. Heat pan until hot in medium heat, add ghee
2. Once ghee melts add desiccated coconut and fry for 3 to 4 min (coconut needs to change its colour slightly)
3. Keep this toasted coconut aside
4. Heat a clean pan in medium heat and add condensed milk and mango puree.
5. Mix well until combined and forms a lump, this might take 5 min.
6. Grease a plate with oil or ghee and add the burfi mix into it
7. Press it to make a 1 or a 1/2 inch thick layer
8. Cut it to desired size and serve warm or cool it completely
9. This can be stored in cool place for up to 2 days.
