I mostly working on 3D modeling and texturing in Blender for real-time rendering such as computer games. And Cycles for me is a tool to bake some of textures.
It was a long time, since I worked on the project, that has to be just a beautiful image in the end. But I thought about that for some time.
As long as I can remember myself, I had folders with images, that inspire me. Some times for me it is not obvious, what draws my attention to the image.
In development of your skills, it is useful to seek the work of others, to find an inspiration.
It's good to know rules! like rules of composition, but also useful to have successful examples in front of you.
Sometimes the image just draws your eyes, and is not necessary to disassemble what captured your attention.
If image grabs you, then save it to special folder, or pin on the board, to view it when looking for inspiration
