Jacquelyn Mehalic, a mother of four, was simply waiting to go home when gunfire erupted. She never made it back to her kids. Betty Jean Averytt, a 59-year-old grandmother, was also killed that night.

What makes this even more disturbing is what happened next. Thirteen days later, at the funeral for one of those involved, more shots rang out—this time injuring six people who were there to mourn.
