PLEASE NOTE: In this video I installed the oil pump nuts incorrectly. The washers and nuts holding the oil pump are convex and the convex side of the washers and nuts are to face the inward side of the oil pump. I have since fixed this on the bike, but am unable to adequately edit this out of the video (Youtube post publishing limitation).
In this video we cure the 1977 Triumph T140v of it's wet sumping issue by installing a new Morgo oil pump. Wet sumping occurs when the two chamber oil pump isn't able to pump sufficient oil out of the dry sump back into the main oil tank. This causes oil to build up in the crankcase, eventually causing oil to pressurize past the piston rings, causing the engine to blow vast quantities of blue smoke out the exhaust. The new pump and new seal are the cure.
