Here we have a quick video of me showing off my now working P38 passenger side (RHD) Blend Motor, which controls the temperature on the passenger side.
Previously the P38 was stuck cold on the passenger side which in December, was an issue... Now as you can see it works lovely and despite what you can see on the HEVAC the 'testbook' symbol has now gone.
Apologies for the fan sound and not being able to hear my voice, basically I am just comentating. Please ignore the cut marks on the motor/through the duct, this is from the muppet who had it before me and made a pigs ear of an attempted repair...
For anyone wanting to know, the level to the far back = cold, lever to far front = hot. This is good if you have a broken motor and just need a decent temperature to ride it out.
Very easy to get to this side, just remove glovebox and airbag (no need to disconnect airbag just place on dash, hence no need to disconnect battery).
Tools used:
Ratchet
7mm socket
8mm double hex socket (airbags bolts)
Small Philips screwdriver
Right angled or ratchet Philips screwdriver
