A total conversion mod of the FreeSpace 2 game, Diaspora is set in the 2004 Battlestar Galactica universe. Gameplay mechanics are similar to the FreeSpace games, but with the addition of new features such as launching and recovery from a Colonial Sobek-class Battlestar, "Glide" control (vectored thrust) and lateral movements.
