The MiG-17 was a single-engine, Soviet-built fighter jet. This single-seat aircraft was based on the MiG-15 and was essentially an improved version of it. Externally, it closely resembled the MiG-15, featuring a classic swept-back wing and retractable airbrakes at the tail.
The RC MiG-17 from CARF is an extremely detailed replica of the original aircraft.
Like the real thing, the RC jet is equipped with a turbine engine.
Furthermore, the RC plane, like the original, features electrically deployable airbrakes. Additionally, the cockpit can be electrically closed and the landing light can be remotely deployed.
This is the modified MK2 version. It can fly with auxiliary fuel tanks and more fuel than normal, in order to remain under 25 kg.
