Описание: Minardi was a team everyone had a soft spot for. They never won, they very rarely scored points, they were often last, but they were giving it a red hot go that captured the hearts of many that watched F1.

But in 2000, the team was sold in a bid to keep it alive, and it was purchased by the very vocal Australian Paul Stoddart, who seemed to constantly be battling with the FIA because he felt that they were out to end the team just because they weren't as rich as everyone else.
