Originally built in 2007 by Le Mans legend Henri Pescarolo's team, the Pescarolo 01 (now known as a Morgan) is one of the most successful privateer LMP sportscars of the modern era.
After twice going bankrupt, Pescarolo handed over development of the 01 to the Oak Racing Team in 2011, which fielded cars in both LMP1 and LMP2 in the ELMS, ALMS, and ILMC.
In 2012 for the first year of the World Endurance Championship, the Morgan Motor Company bought the naming rights to the chassis. Oak continued in P1 and P2, but later dropped to only producing P2 cars.
In 2014 a the Morgan featured in this video, was entered in the TUDOR United Sports Car Championship and participated in the first rounds of the championship, picking up a win at Mosport. Oak Racing later replaced the Morgan with a new, closed top, Ligier.
This video was shot at the 2014 Brickyard Grand Prix at Indianapolis.
