Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs and Visit Knoxville have teamed up for a five-part video series – dubbed “Staycation” – that showcases just some of what Knox County has to offer for those staying home on Spring Break.
“We are so lucky to have all of this right here in our backyard,” Mayor Jacobs said. “You can go back in time nearly 200 years with a look at one of our seven historic homes, visit Zoo Knoxville with the family, or take a hike up House Mountain. Knox County is the perfect place for your Staycation. We have something for everyone.”
Our furry friends also need a Staycation as well. So, definitely check out one of the many dog parks the county has to offer or visit one of the more than 50 county parks and take them for a walk along one of the greenways or hiking trails.
