It's that time of year again! Time to harvest the delicious honey you've waited so long for. Your honey super is full to the brim and you're dying to get started. SO! Here's part one of our series on how to harvest honey!

In part one, John Smith (owner of Central Beekeepers Supply) and his daughter, Cora, will show us how to harvest honey. The first step we'll show you is to place fume boards in the place of your top lid. Removing the honey super can be intimidating for first time beekeepers. It's heavy, full of liquid gold, and what about all the bees?!? This video will show you the first couple of steps in the process of harvesting honey. You don't need to be nervous or anxious, just approach it with a humble, steady hand and you've got it.
