Honda S2000, The clutch decel buzz is obvious between 4000rpm to 3000rpm, and disappears at 2800rpm.
This buzz noise disappear when clutch is disengaged.
I installed Toda Racing Ojisama Sports Clutch kit (with flywheel) with OEM release bearing.
After only 6-700km run, decel buzz started. Like others, this happens typically in deceleration between 4500rpm to 3000rpm, then disappear below at around 2800rpm and when clutch is disengaged.
I asked Toda Racing Japan, they say something wrong in transmission (e.g. gear backlash or bearing wear out) could be causing this noise, or mis-installation of release bearing could also cause this noise.
They also said they have never heard of this noise issue as if something else is causing the noise.
My clutch and flywheel, transmission are working totally fine.
If you have Toda Ojisama sports clutch kit, and have the same noise. please let me know if you did something to stop this noise or this is ok to leave or what consequence you had after leaving this noise or do you think my transmission has some issues?
