Government documents are often published as scanned images or PDFs filled with legal and bureaucratic language. Civic-AI uses OCR, AI reasoning, and a scalable backend architecture to analyze these documents and convert them into easy-to-understand explanations.

This project is built as a backend-first AI service that can be integrated by government portals, NGOs, and third-party platforms. The frontend serves as a demo interface, while the core innovation lies in the AI-powered backend that processes queries at scale.
