10 years ago I stopped wearing makeup and started the journey towards loving my skin again. I’d been wearing makeup from a very early age but I was never happy with how I looked - with our without makeup. So I knew something had to change. I needed to address the problem at the root.

I decided to stop wearing makeup to challenge myself to actually love my skin. To love it in the morning, after workouts, when I got embarrassed, before my period, when my skin was dry, plump, tired, happy - no matter what.

In this video I share my story wearing makeup and the reasons for not wearing makeup. I also share practical tips that helped me love my skin again and reorganize my reflection on beauty standards.

If you’re struggling with self-confidence, or simply don’t want to wear makeup, please know that you don’t have to, and that wearing makeup isn’t “normal”.
