The Bingo Wings Project is an intergenerational arts and wellbeing community project bringing all ages together through circus and bingo.
The project begins in Limerick and will continue onto Donegal and Kerry in 2019.
The Bingo Wings Project is a collaboration between multiple partners, lead by Limerick City and County Council Culture and Arts Department, artistic lead Fidget Feet Aerial Dance Theatre, Kerry County Council and Donegal County Council to co-commission and produce the Bingo Wings Project, funded through the Arts Council’s Invitation to Collaboration Scheme.
The project feeds into a new professional show, a Fidget Feet production, blending circus, aerial dance and theatre, and is delivered by an award-winning team including director Jo Mangan, choreographer Chantal McCormick playwright Tom Swift and composer Jym Daly.
Bingo Wings will premiere in The Lime Tree Theatre, Limerick, September 13th and 14th, Siamsa Tíre, Kerry, October 9th and An Grianán Theatre, Letterkenny, October 18th and 19th, which will feature some of the community groups from each region.
