For instance, Evergy, the largest utility in Kansas, imposes a maximum limit of approximately 18 kW for residential net-metered solar projects and around 120 kW for commercial installations. In Missouri, the typical maximum size for net-metered solar projects is 100 kW, applicable to both residential and commercial properties.
