Описание: Dr. Victoria Tang will discuss her AGING Initiative funded pilot project work focused on the importance and prevalence of advance care planning (ACP) for older adults with multiple chronic conditions undergoing high-risk surgery. Dr. Zara Cooper will discuss her research focused on improving end of life and palliative care through patient-provider communication.

The HCSRN-OAICs AGING Initiative is an NIA-funded joint endeavor of the Health Care Systems Research Network (HCSRN) and the Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Centers (OAICs) to create a national resource to advance interdisciplinary research focused on older adults with multiple chronic conditions (MCCs). This webinar series is hosted by the Dissemination Workgroup, co-led by Dr. Leah Hanson, HealthPartners, and Dr. Heather Whitson, Duke University, of the AGING Initiative.
