Описание: This is a journey into the radical act of choosing peace today. As Black women, we reclaim our rest not as a luxury, but as a birthright that was never meant to be stripped from us 🕯️✨!

In this home, the labor ends at the threshold. As the last of the holiday shimmer comes down, I am replacing it not with more 'doing,' but with the intentional 'being' of winter. This is a journey of Hygge and Biophilia—blending the biological need for nature with the soulful need for comfort.

As a Black woman, I recognize that these rooms—the kitchen, the dining table, the sunroom—have historically been spaces of output. Today, I reclaim them as altars for our reflection. You’ll see this reset unfold over several days, honoring my pace and energy. I’ve anchored our vibrant year-round oasis with winter textures, cozy pillows, & candlelight to create a sanctuary that ‘hugs’ us back.

Mid-reset, I pause to nourish my body with a plant-based charcuterie board. This is a reminder that we are worthy of the same beauty we pour into our surroundings. This is how we live on purpose: by curating a Hygge sanctuary that refuses to let us abandon ourselves to the world's rush.
