How to change bearings of AEG top loading washing machine

After just 8 years the bearings of my AEG top loading washing machine started to leak and make some noise, while further the machine is fine with still guarantee on the motor for 2 more years! I enquired AEG and some repair shops about costs for repair. AEG charges 219€ to repair without any guarantee that repair can actually be done. If not repairable one still has to pay 120€. Another shop claimed that the whole tub+drum has to be replaced for about 400€. Another one says it will likely cost about 250€ to replace both bearings but that sometimes the axes are too damaged and bearing will still leak after repair. some others did not even reply to my repair/cost enquiry.

So, I decided to repair it myself.
The left bearing (part number 4071311544) and right bearing (part number 4071311536 ) cost about 50€ each.
Removing the bearings needs a lot of force, since they stick very well to the tub due the detergent rests and limescale. In the video is shown how to make a tool to remove the bearings. With the long levers of this tool one can apply a lot of force to the bearing to unscrew them.
It turned out to be very easy to replace the bearing with this tool. Just 1 hour to replace both bearings.
