In this vlog I take a spontaneous solo day trip from Barcelona to Mallorca — just a 40-minute flight away — to explore a place I've never been before.

It turns out visiting on a Sunday in the middle of summer means a lot of things are closed… but that didn’t stop me from wandering the streets of Palma, admiring the cathedral, walking nearly 7km through the city, and eventually finding the perfect beach club to relax in the sun.

Sometimes the best travel days are the ones with no real plan.

Living in Europe has given me the freedom to take little adventures like this, and this vlog is a reminder that you don’t need a big trip to experience something new.

Just a day, a flight, a backpack - and hat - and a bit of curiosity.
