همه نشسته ایم در یک گلدان
و به “سفر” فکر میکنیم ...
فقط یکبار قرار است برویم ...
و
هیجان زده هستیم ...
هیچ کدام نمیدانیم “آن طرف” چه خبر است.
اما میدانیم
که قرار است معنایی را بیافرینیو ...
متحد و مصمم،
آخرین زورمان را میزنیم تا زیباتر از همیشه به نظر برسیم،
آخر "مقصد" همین است.
یاد حرف هایی که باغبان همیشه میگفت افتادم:
"حیف که آخرش سینه قبرستونن"
آیا مقصد همان قبرستان است ؟؟
دوباره همان صدای همیشگی در مغزم میپیچد
تو زاده شدی تا “معنا” ببخشی ..
مقصد مرا از عالم خود بیرون کرد.
رسیدیم،
و یک نفر فریاد زد :
آخ جان، گلایول های قرمزم ...
گلایول،
این گل استوار،
فراتر از استفاده ی این روزهاست،
از هنرمندان سوال کردم، برخی براساس خاطرات و برخی براساس احساسی
که این روزها برای گلایول خلق شده است جوابم دادند ...
گلایول بیشتر آدمها را یاد قبرستان، مرگ و مراسم عزا م یاندازد..
بخش جدا نشدنی و در واقع مکمل "زندگی"
اما آنچه واقعیت دارد، گلایول نمادی از قدرت و پیروزی است و در بسیاری
از فرهنگ ها به عنوان نمادی از شجاعت و شرف شناخته شده است.
در فرهنگ غرب، این گل اغلب در مراسمی که به شجاعت و قدرت مرتبط
است، استفاده می شود.
در فرهنگ کشور ما این گل سمبل تداعی خاطرات و ادای احترام است و
معمولا برای جشن ها و مراسم استفاده می شود.
اگرچه این روزها گلایول را بیشتر در مراسم ترحیم میبینیم،
و حالا فکر میکنم وقت آن است ادای احترامی کنیم به این گل، تا خاطرات
خوب را هم معنا کند ...

We are all sitting in the same flowerpot,
thinking about the “journey”…
We only get to go once…
and
we are excited…
None of us know what awaits “on the other side.”
But we know
we are meant to create a meaning...
United and determined,
we give our last effort
to look more beautiful than ever,
because the “destination” is just that.
I remembered what the gardener used to say:
“It›s a pity that the end is the cemetery.”
Is the destination really the cemetery?!!
Again, that familiar voice echoes in my mind:
“You were born to give ‘meaning’…”
The destination pulled me out of my own world.
We arrived,
and someone shouted:
Ah dear, my red gladiolus...
Gladiolus,
this resilient flower,
is more than just its usual uses today.
I asked some artists; some answered based on memories, others on the feelings these days associated with gladiolus...
Gladiolus reminds most people of cemeteries, death, and mourning ceremonies...
An inseparable and actually complementary part of “life.”
But what is true is that gladiolus is a symbol of strength and victory,
and in many cultures, it is recognized as a symbol of courage and honor.
In Western culture, this flower is often used in ceremonies related to bravery and power.
In our culture, this flower symbolizes remembering memories and paying tribute,
and is usually used for celebrations and ceremonies.
Although these days we mostly see gladiolus at funerals,
I now think it›s time to pay homage to this flower,
so it can also represent beautiful memories…
