After just over nine and a half months since our last trip to Prague, we revisit the tram network in the Czech Republic's capital, Prague, to see the new features that have been introduced in recent months.
The Prague tram network has 29 daytime lines and 10 nighttime lines.
We were also able to see one of the new Škoda 52T trams, in this case unit 9503, which began operating on June 20, 2025, on line 12. This is the first of 40 new Škoda 52T trams to be put into service. Another 19 Škoda 52T trams are expected to arrive this year, with the remaining 20 Škoda 52T trams expected to arrive in 2026.
