Night Editions are now being extended to other music I am a fan of (mainly 80's Electropop, Post-Punk, Goth and everything in between). The Walk hit the charts and got as high as number 12 in July of '83, it never got an official 12 inch treatment although it did get a remix in 1990 on The Cure's Mixed Up album. I felt like it needed a bit of an update so this is my attempt at extending it to the dance floor.
Video mostly edited taken from The Cure's first appearance of two on Top Of The Pops in July 1983 with Porl Thompson on bass. I dont think Robert was too impressed with being on TOTPs. He hides behind his shades, doesn't bother playing the guitar parts and just about does the bare minimum in miming the words. Everyone else seemed to have fun though!
