We’re thrilled to share some incredible news – two Amur tiger cubs have been born at Knowsley Safari, marking a major milestone for this endangered species!
Mum Yuki gave birth on 29th July and is caring for her little ones in their cosy den. These are the first Amur tiger cubs born here in almost 30 years!
Dad Makari is in a neighbouring paddock, while we monitor the new arrivals remotely to give them peace and privacy. Visitors can watch them via our ‘Cub Cam’ on the 10,000m² Tiger Trail, before they begin exploring outside later this autumn.
