Late Baroque, the main body of the villa was built in the early eighteenth century following the will of Duchess del Carretto.

It was then bought by Gian Galeazzo Serbelloni, who carried out the definitive transformation in neoclassical style.

Today, the amazing stairways, the marble balconies and the characteristic blue shutters that recall the waters of the lake, participate in a majestic but sober aspect.

The heraldic coat of arms of the Serbelloni dukes stands out on the large tympanum at the top of the Villa and their motto ("Villulae Quietem") 'the quiet of a small villa', engraved in the entrance invites you to days of peaceful relax.

The residence then passed to the Sola Cabiati counts and their descendants, never changing ownership.

Surrounded by an Italian garden arabesque, directly overlooking the lake. the garden is organized in four large parterres with flower beds that recall an embroidery pattern.
