In August 2021, I had the privilege to visit all four camps in Botswana's Mashatu Game Reserve, including Tuli Safari Lodge Mashatu, which features in this video. We spend to nights at Tuli Safari Lodge Mashatu, and while we were there we had sundowners on Mmamagwa Hill, arguably the most beautiful viewpoint in Mashatu, saw a pair of young lions in golden light, and enjoyed a very special bush dinner while being serenaded by the Tuli Safari Lodge Mashatu choir.

Tuli Safari Lodge is the southern-most camp in Mashatu Game Reserve and it's situated near Pont Drift Border Post. It's tucked between the rocky sandstone ridges along the Limpopo River and has a very homey feel to it. The eight safari tents are some of the most comfortable and luxurious I've ever stayed in and the camp has numerous little spots where you can escape to during the middle of the day, including a large swimming pool, a reading bench overlooking the Limpopo River, a viewing spot overlooking a waterhole in the rocks and a star-gazing spot where you can take the most incredible photos of the Milky Way at night.

Tuli Safari Lodge Mashatu is also the perfect place from which to do bush walks - the best way to really make the most of the scenic environment around camp. Enjoy this episode and remember to watch the other four episodes in the series about Mashatu Game Reserve as well.
