The RoRo StretchPack® packaging machine is perfect for wood materials. In one operation it can do 6-sided packaging and sealing. The packaging principle is based on well-proven stretch hood packaging for vertical hooding of, for example, pallets. The Danish-based company Tentoma A/S has refined the technology to enable horizontal packaging of wood in a tubular stretch hood film sealed at both ends. It makes heat shrink redundant and minimizes excessive film use. When customers shift to RoRo StretchPack®, they typically see reductions in film consumption between 25-60% compared to conventional packaging methods such as orbital wrapping and heat shrink.
