Mock interviews are intended to judge the mental caliber of a candidate. It gives the interviewee an opportunity to assess not only a candidate's intellectual abilities but also the social traits and awareness about the ongoing events at the national and global levels. The major attributes that are assessed in a candidate for the administrative role in the Govt. machinery are - mental alertness i.e., presence of mind, clear and logical interpretations, critical analysis, unbiased approach, an in-depth understanding of key issues, leadership skills, integrity and last but not the least an ability to possess social cohesiveness.

Mock interviews help the candidates immensely in making them ready for the final CSE Interview. It helps in shaping and grooming the personalities required to work as civil servants. Candidates are made aware of the requisites right from general interview norms to the attributes that are distinctly unique to their persona.
