Andy Bishop tells the story of one of the latest Midland Red buses to be restored to a running monument to the company. 3352 (352 KHA) was a BMMO C2 cruise coach with a BMMO 8 litre engine. It originally had a Duple 26 seater, centre entrance body, but in 1962 this body was replaced with a Plaxton Embassy body, also with 26 seats and a centre entrance. It was withdrawn in 1971. The coach was redesignated CL2
The restoration has taken place over a 40 year period, and the result is superb. Enjoy the ride!
