For this episode I've read the short story A Deputy Governor’s Wooing by Andre Theuriet published in Short Stories Magazine March issue of 1891. This short story will also be my recommendation for the weekly category romance prompt.

For this pulp project I will read one pulp story for every year starting in 1890. I do know the pulps officially started in 1896, but there are two reasons for me to start a bit earlier.
One is that Short Stories Magazine played an important part in popularizing the short story and the second reason is that it is GarbAugust and I thought it would be fun to concentrate on pulp fiction published between 1890 and 1900.
