Описание: Welcome back to Japanese History for Everyone, where we breakdown Japanese History into easy to bite pieces.

Many apologies for the delay as my editor was recovering from covid over the past few weeks and I myself have been very busy. Also, I just got accepted into the Ph.D program for History with a focus on Japanese History however, and will start the doctoral program in the Fall!

Today in our series "Female Leaders of Japan" we are exploring three Empresses who acted as regents all within the same relative period: Empress Jito, Empress Genmei and Empress Gensho.

About Luciditi: I have an M.A in World History with a research focus on Modern Japanese History and Feminism.
