EXPLORING TULUM MAYAN RUINS and the BEAUTIFUL TULUM BEACH

In this video we adventure to the Ancient Mayan Ruins in TULUM MEXICO.
We took the Collectivo (transit) from our resort rather than paying for a guided tour which can be expensive. We did the same for all of our off resort day trips as we were comfortable with exploring areas in Mexico on our own.
The bus was approximately $3 CDN and took about 30 minutes from our resort as our driver had a heavy foot haha.
It costs 350 pesos per person to enter the park plus an additional 95 pesos to enter the ruins. We walked around the ruins and slowly made our way to the Tulum beach. The is a secured gate from the ruins area to the beach and you cannot enter the ruins from the beach without proof of payment (wrist band).
The Tulum beach is absolutely beautiful with the ruins in the back ground and the ocean was warm and refreshing on a hot day.
I highly recommend visiting the Tulum ruins and especially the beach if you are in the area in Mexico. We felt safe taking the local transit to the tourist areas and the locals were very kind and helpful.
