I wanted to add some protection to the bottom of my Tacoma
I went to two salvage yards and found some aluminum and was able to make a DIY skid plate, that I personally think came out great.
I don't have a "brake" ( to be able to bend metal, so I had to do it the old fashion way 🙂)
My Tacoma is a 5 lug and there is not as much stuff for it as a 6 lug.
I took the truck on the highway and there was no noise or vibration at all added because of the skid plate.
I also ended up sanding and painting the lower radiator support
I hope this gives you guys some ideas
