NOBODY WANTS YOUR UPGRADED SQUIER

Usually they're decked out with the fanciest hardware, pickups and electronics, sometimes even with expensive professional services done, from fretwork and refinishing to custom wiring jobs, with the owners sinking sometimes 4x what the base guitar cost them. BUT when it's time to sell, nobody wants them, even if it means basically getting a free guitar and a bundle of premium parts at a discount. WHY? Today, I explore buyer sentiment when it comes to upgraded Squiers, the reigning opinions on the value of mods, the few exceptions to these upheld "rules" and the best way to make the most money back should you have to sell.
