On October 26, 2023, a Florida officer with Tallahassee Police Department observed a vehicle with a cracked windshield traveling 42 in a 35 and conducted a traffic stop. The driver told the officer that he did not have a license and was borrowing the vehicle from a friend. The officers quickly discovered marijuana and narcotics including Alpha, a dangerous drug similar to bath salts. Based on the detective's questions, it appears the detective previously witnessed the driver exchanging something with a female prior to the encounter.
