The story tells of a woman who had suffered from continuous bleeding for twelve years. She had spent all she had on doctors, yet her condition only grew worse. Because of her illness, she was considered unclean and lived in shame and isolation.
When she heard about Jesus, hope rose in her heart. Believing that even touching His garment would heal her, she pushed through the crowd and touched the edge of His cloak. Immediately, her bleeding stopped, and she was healed.
Jesus stopped and asked who had touched Him. Though afraid, the woman came forward and told Him the truth. Jesus responded with compassion, calling her “Daughter” and telling her that her faith had made her well. She left healed in body, restored in dignity, and filled with peace.
