Carmina Burana, composed by Carl Orff, performed live by the Ghent University Choir, conducted by Joris Derder, on December 10th 2025 during the concert 'Carmina Burana' in the Bijloke in Ghent.
This performance marks the 25th anniversary of the Ghent University Choir. To celebrate this silver jubilee, several alumni returned to the stage to perform alongside the choir.
Soloists:
Jolien De Gendt – soprano
Henk Lauwers – baritone
Timothy Veryser – tenor
With special thanks to pianists Tae Yoshioka and Marc Masson, the percussion ensemble of Conservatorium & KASK Ghent (prepared by Wim Konink), and the children’s choir formed within Festival Choir Flanders.
