Описание: Living in the Philippines has introduced me to a lot of traditions and beliefs I had never heard of before. Some of them are fascinating, some are surprising, and a few are meant to protect people from things that many locals truly believe in.

In this video I talk about a few of the superstitions I’ve learned about since being here—especially the ones related to protecting yourself from witches and other unseen spirits. These are beliefs that have been passed down through generations and are still taken seriously by many people today.

Experiencing these cultural differences has been one of the most interesting parts of living in the Philippines, and it’s always something new to learn.
