Not everybody knows that Queen 's iconic "I Want To Break Free" solo wasn't played by @Queen guitarist @BrianMay wasn't even a guitar solo! Many players have scratched their head at the odd phrasing and un-guitaristic lines of the solo, not to mention the tone. Well, in my book that makes this one even cooler....and a perfect choice to adapt for a #fretless rendition. I also promised one of my students that I would do a version of it, but psst. 😉There's even a few slightly microtonal notes in there that are much easier to nail than with a regular fretted guitar.Enjoy!
