_______________ Rough Night, Still Gotta Bring It | Gigging Drummer 21 -- This was a rough night. But I'm posting it because those happen and they're part of the life of a musician. It's great when we can play cool gigs. But a lot of them are just part of the job. They're not glamorous. I try to post the real side of this music thing.

The crowd never really showed up. Those that were there were pretty lethargic. Just a long night altogether. The most important thing to remember on nights like these...you are playing music. And getting paid to do it. And you still need to treat it like there are 20,000 people watching. When you look at every gig as the most important you've ever done, every note matters, every show matters. Because in the end, your level of professionalism in these moments lets other musicians know who you REALLY are.
