During a recent bee removal in Altadena, we discovered more than we bargained for. What initially appeared to be a new issue turned out to be an established hive with two active entry points—likely used for emergency exits by the bees.
The removal was no easy task, as we had to carefully access the hive from the roof's edge. Despite the challenges, we successfully removed the entire honeycomb and safely transferred it into a secure box. In about ten days, we’ll relocate the hive to a local beekeeper, ensuring the bees continue to thrive in their new home.
