About Chhabdi barahi :
The Chhabdi Barahi Temple is located in Chhabdi Barahi Village, Tanahun District. It is the source of the Chhabdi River, which flows from a small pond in the temple compound. It is believed that Satyavati was born here in the form of a fish, and fishes play an important role in the cultural traditions of the temple. Death rites in keeping with Hindu traditions are performed for fishes that die here, with the priest playing the role of the son of the fish.
